Hiranya Agarwal.

Mechanical engineering student at UNSW and co-founder of CentralPass, a hospitality software startup. I build across mechanics, electronics and software, based in Sydney and Adelaide.

Competition robotics taught me to design against a deadline, test assumptions and keep a team moving when a build needs another iteration. I now apply those habits to flight hardware and software used during restaurant service.

I grew up in Adelaide and study in Sydney, and I move between the two often enough that both count as home. I am in the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering at UNSW.

Beyond the build

I co-founded Project Umbrella Labs, a student engineering startup at UNSW, where I hold the CFO role. How the rest of it happened, year by year, is a longer story.
